Top 5 Easy to Play Beginner Builds in POE 3.21 Crucible League

Apr 19, 2023

Crucible League is the latest challenge league in Path of Exile, prompting many players to search for suitable starter builds. These beginner-friendly builds are ideal for starting fresh, as they don't require a significant amount of POE Currency, unique items, or powerful gems. They should be both powerful and easy for players to pick up, helping to reduce the initial learning curve and minimize frustration.

POE 3.21

Starting out with Path of Exile can be quite stressful, given the vast number of builds available in the game. However, for POE 3.21, there are some great starter builds that are easy to pick up and powerful to play. This article will introduce and briefly explain each of these builds, making them accessible to both new and returning players.

1. Corrupting Fever Guardian

In a recent discussion about POE 3.21, we talked about the Corrupting Fever build and its effectiveness in both the Champion and Guardian classes. This build is particularly effective for physical damage dealers and is often paired with attack skills like Kinetic Blast or Reap, as Corrupting Fever is a buff rather than an attack in itself. Splitting Steel is also a good attack skill to start with.

To maximize damage output in Path of Exile's Crucible League, one effective build is to combine Haemophilia gloves with the Vaal Reap gem. This creates Boiling Blood pools, leading to even greater damage. This build is incredibly powerful, making it ideal for clearing waves of enemies.

2. Ice Shot Deadeye

Thanks to updates in Path of Exile, Deadeye build in the POE 3.21 is now capable of blasting through bosses with ease. In the past, this was a challenging task, but Ice Shot is now the skill of choice to build around for both single-target fights and wiping out waves of enemies. The build benefits from several support gems that enhance cold and elemental damage.

To support damage and mobility, as well as prevent bleed damage, several skills are recommended for the Crucible League's reliable build. These include Herald of Ice, Grace, Steelskin, Sniper's Mark, and Blink Arrow. This build is known for its impressive damage scaling and ability to demolish entire groups of enemies.

3. Boneshatter Slayer

The Boneshatter and Slayer synergize exceptionally well in a powerful build that has garnered much interest. Boneshatter can deliver one-shot kills, which results in the accumulation of Trauma stacks. While this may have negative implications, Slayer's leech potential can help you overcome these challenges. Notably, this build doesn't require specific unique items, making it an accessible choice for players looking to try something new.

While Juggernaut is an option, in my view, Boneshatter Slayer is the superior choice. It's one of my preferred builds for playing in POE 3.21 at the moment, as it can take on maps with ease, defeat bosses, and progressively increase its damage output. The Boneshatter Slayer generates AOE damage pulses upon stunning enemies, and with an optimal setup, it can overwhelm even the strongest foes in the game.

4. Toxic Rain Pathfinder

In POE 3.21, Toxic Rain Pathfinder remains a popular and straightforward build. It continues to excel due to Pathfinder's proficiency in dealing Chaos Damage. Additionally, with the support of Multishot, players can further increase the number of arrows fired, culminating in an impressive level of damage output.

Toxic Rain is a fantastic starter skill that enables new players to saturate maps with spore pod-producing arrows. This build is appealing due to its lack of reliance on unique items, as it has excellent compatibility with a wide range of rare gear. With gear that enhances Attack Speed, AOE Chaos Damage over Time, and Skill Effect Duration, players can achieve swift and significant accomplishments.

5. Absolution Necromancer

Absolution Necromancer is widely regarded as one of the most effective Minion spells in Path of Exile, although I haven't personally tried it myself. This build is expected to shine in the Crucible League, as it summons a Sentinel for a limited duration when you defeat an enemy using the ability. To enhance this build, players can acquire +Duration nodes that bolster the Sentinel's performance.

Similar to other summon-based builds, the Absolution Necromancer build allows you to summon Raging Spirits, Zombies, Carrion Golem, or your preferred minions to fight for you. To amplify your offensive capabilities, Vaal Absolution is highly recommended, as it summons an additional Sentinel for an enemy's demise. This build is impressive due to its ability to effortlessly clear maps while enabling players to inflict substantial damage to their foes.

Path of Exile players in the Crucible League has a multitude of options when it comes to their builds. These options are not limited to specific classes, as players can explore various skill trees, gems, and gear. As a result, players have a lot of flexibility and choices, which makes playing this game even more enjoyable. All in all, it's an exciting time for Path of Exile players who are looking for a rewarding and diverse gaming experience.
