Discover The 3 Most Budget-Friendly Builds In Path Of Exile 3.23

Feb 01, 2024

Hello, Builders! There is another top 3 builds guide of Path of Exile 3.23. Today, we're focusing on the cost-effective builds for those who prefer not to spend a significant amount of investment. That means you don't need to spend a large number of POE Currency to complete these builds. So, let's dive right in.

Discover The 3 Most Budget-Friendly Builds In Path Of Exile 3.23

3. Essence Drain Occultist

Let’s start with this build that is at third Place in WoW Classic: the Essence Drain Occultist with the Witch class. Essence Drain is a skill that drains the life of your enemies and even restores your life by a percentage of the damage dealt. Since it can only be used on one enemy at a time, we also use Contagion to spread the damage, resulting in an amazing increase in clear speed.

Pros & Cons

To get to the pros of this build, I would start with how easy it is to play. You just need to cast Contagion and Essence Drain to watch the whole screen of enemies melting before your eyes. This character is also very easy to put together because it doesn’t need any mandatory unique items. Above all of that, it’s very safe with many defensive layers.

Now, to list the cons, the first thing that comes to my mind is the boss damage. Even though this is a very cheap build, you need to invest several divines to have big single-target damage. But don’t worry too much about that. This build is meant as a red map farmer, and it kills map bosses easily even on a low budget.

Budget

As for budget, this build is very cheap. You can get it by destroying early endgame maps with only around 35k or to comfortably progress to Yellow Maps. You need to invest around 100 chaos. For easily completing your Atlas, I recommend investing around 4 Divine Orbs. But you can totally do it with less.

Clear Speed

For clear speed, I give this build 10 out of 10. When you get a big area of effect in your Contagion, you kill enemies out of sight with only 1 cast.

Boss Damage

The boss damage, on the other hand, is a 7 out of 10. It will take longer than usual to kill Guardians and pinnacle bosses, but you have no problem with regular map bosses.

Survivability

For survivability, I’ll give it 9 out of 10. This build comes with over 100,000 effective HP because of high armor, high evasion, spell suppression, amazing life regeneration, and even a bit of block chance.

2. Venom Gyre Deadeye

Next, we have a build that is so OP that you won’t believe how second place cheap it is to make: the Venom Gyre Deadeye with the Ranger class. Venom Gyre is a very interesting skill that fires a projectile that hits enemies and returns to you, piercing and dealing damage to everything in its path. When the projectile successfully returns to you, you can keep and stack them up to 30 times, and they will all be released at once when you use the Whirling Blades movement skill.

Pros & Cons

To list the pros of this build, I wouldn’t even know where to start. It comes with amazing clear speed, boss damage, and a big effective HP. Above all, it’s cheap, and easy to put together. It doesn’t require any mandatory unique items.

Now, to list the cons is the Rego challenge. It’s hard to find something not to like on this build. However, I would say that, as with most builds, this one is also vulnerable to chaos damage unless you invest in chaos resistance gear.

Path of Exile 3.23 Venom Gyre Deadeye

Budget

As for budget, this build is cheap. You can get to early endgame maps with only around 90 Chaos Orbs. To comfortably advance to Yellow Maps, you need to invest around 120 chaos, and for easily completing Atlas, I recommend investing around 4 divines.

Clear Speed

For clear speed, I give this build 10 out of 10. The Venom Gyre projectile already has an expansive nature for the amount of time it stays, dealing damage on the screen. Now, with a Deadeye that grants a lot of speed and many buffs to projectiles, the result is what you’re seeing in this Tier 16 gameplay.

Boss Damage

The boss damage is also a 10 out of 10. You can use Volatile Venom Gyre to instantly have 50 stack projectiles and delete bosses with an amazing shotgun effect using Whirling Blades on them. It’s just unreal, and I can’t believe it wasn’t nerfed again.

Survivability

For survivability, I’ll give it 9 out of 10. This build comes with over 80,000 effective HP because of high armor, high evasion, spell suppression, and block chance.

3. Toxic Rain Pathfinder

Finally, we have this build that is a beginner’s dream: Toxic Rain Pathfinder with the Ranger class. This build uses the permaflasks and chaos damage the Pathfinder to deploy many powerful pods that drain the life out of your enemies.

Path of Exile 3.23 Toxic Rain Pathfinder

Pros & Cons

To list the pros of this build, I would start with how easy it is to put together. You don’t need any mandatory unique POE Items, and the leveling is very simple. Another great feature of this build is that your pods are going to stay up all the time, even on boss fights, and the life regeneration from your life pods will be eternal. This build is great for beginners because you end up having great clear, boss damage, and survivability with low investment.

Now, to list the cons, the main issue of this build is mana. Since we’re dealing with damage over time to build, we cannot leech mana or life. Because of that issue, we need rare rings that reduce the mana cost of skills.

Budget

As for budget, you can get to destroy early in game maps with only around 100 chaos. To comfortably advance to Yellow Maps, you need to invest around 150 chaos, and for easily completing Atlas, I recommend investing around 4 divines.

Clear Speed

For clear speed, this build gets 9 out of 10. As a Pathfinder, your Quicksilver and Silver flasks are going to have more effect and be up 100% of the time, granting a lot of attack and movement speed. Also, you only need to deploy the pods once, and they will drain surrounding enemies, rendering a smooth gameplay.

Boss Damage

The boss damage also gets 9 out of 10. Combining your strength with Toxic Rain totems, bosses just drown in countless pods. Even the big bosses are going to melt like butter before your eyes.

Survivability

For survivability, I’ll give it 9 out of 10. This build has high evasion, high armor, and spell suppression. Also, your defensive plays have more effect and are up all the time, even on bosses. Above all, you can use Toxic Rain from a safe distance, and it spots heavily slow down enemies.

That's all for today's builds. Hope you enjoy and try any of them!
