Follow The Steps To Plan Your POE 3.24 Necropolis League Atlas Tree For SSF

Mar 30, 2024

Greetings, players! Today marks the launch of the Path of Exile 3.24 Necropolis League. In this guide, I will provide you a comprehensive guide regarding the new league Atlas passive skill tree. With the removal of master missions, the Atlas tree has undergone changes.

Follow The Steps To Plan Your POE 3.24 Necropolis League Atlas Tree For SSF

New Atlas Tree

Now, there will be increased opportunities to spawn masters and league mechanics directly from the Atlas passive tree nodes. What this means is you’ll now be able to force certain mechanics to spawn on your map in every single map that you open. For some mechanics, you’ll be able to achieve this very early on.

This strategy is almost definitely not what you’ll want to be doing in a trade league, as you likely want to optimize the most valuable use of Atlas passive skill tree points in the early league economy, and then use the POE Currency you make from the tips to buy gear.

Early Atlas Progression

This strategy has 37 points spent on the tree, which will be around the time of full completion of White Maps. Perhaps you have some White Map completion missing and you’ll finish some Yellow Maps, but it will be somewhere around that stage of progression.

Expedition

The tree is taking the early Expedition wheel, Hunt for Answers. The whole wheel now provides 52% Expedition Chance to spawn in your maps, and we’re taking another +8% chance along with the big bomb keystone - Extreme Archaeology.

POE 3.24 Hunt for Answers

So, with the base 8% spawn chance, you’ll be seeing Expedition 3 to 4 times in every 5 maps that you open, on average. With a large portion of the spawn chance concentrated at the start of the tree, you’ll swiftly begin accumulating expedition vendor currency.

Harvest

This tree is also taking the first Harvest wheel, Call of the Grove. This wheel just provides +70% chance to spawn Harvest Chance on your maps. So, with the base 8% chance for Harvest to spawn, you’ll be greeting Oshabi in roughly 4 of every 5 maps that you open, and Harvest juice is going to be quite important in this gearing strategy.

Betrayal Investment

The main path of this early game Atlas tree is a heavy focus on Betrayal. We path through Obsessed with Vengeance for +40% chance for Jun to spawn, and we’re path through this wheel with both Bribery and Effective Leadership taken. The 3 small nodes also provide a +24% chance for Jun to spawn.

Effective Leadership will essentially improve our chances of spawning more Syndicate members during encounters by making leaders more likely to spawn. But more important than that, when the leader does spawn, it will make that leader drop an extra Veiled Item, which is great for both unlocking crafting modifiers and potentially gearing as well.

POE 3.24 Effective Leadership

Bribery just provides more loot, and we’re mainly taking this one because it’s a single point spent, as we want to take the small node before it. The 2 Betrayal Veiled Items Chance nodes together add up to 30% chance for Syndicate members to drop an extra Veiled Item on top of what they already drop, which again improves our rate of early crafting unlocks and potential gear upgrades.

Then we’re taking the Betrayal wheel. The 5 small nodes provide a +40% chance to spawn Jun, bringing the total chance to over 100%, so you’re guaranteed to spawn Jun on every map you open at this point of the tree. We can also take the Test of Loyalty notable for members to gain an extra rank when slain.

Betrayal Rewards

In terms of rewards, this is slightly less relevant now with the Betrayal rewards rework, but Betrayal does still offers some wonderful rewards containing lots of scarabs. The Gracious Divination card stack is still around, so getting members ranked up is still decent for that.

The better thing is that faster ranking using those ranks to spawn Safehouses faster and then farm Catarina faster. That’s the thing that is useful for which you’ll be wanting to do a lot in SSF to farm Veiled Orbs.

Gearing Strategy

The gearing strategy is very straightforward. You can use Rog crafting and Veiled Items for gearing, using Harvest to patch up any issues, swap resistances, craft any missing slots or some other things. You can hold on to grow currency for bases once hit Level 90, which then allows the item bases to roll up to 86.
