Incredible Gloves Perfect For Solo Players In POE 3.24 Necropolis League - Hand Of Phrecia

Apr 08, 2024

Greetings, fellow players! I extend a warm welcome to all of you to another informative guide centered on the latest content in Path of Exile 3.24. Today, we embark on a journey to explore the mechanics surrounding the newly introduced unique gloves exclusive to the Necropolis League - The Hand of Phrecia.

There’s a special guide for solo players. With these gloves, it’s an interaction between different mechanics. Gloves with a non-cursed aura in the skill only apply to you and the linked target.

Incredible Gloves Perfect For Solo Players In POE 3.24 Necropolis League - Hand Of Phrecia

About Hand Of Phrecia

These are unique gloves exclusively accessible through the graveyard crafting. Acquiring them involves burying 4 distinct members of the Phrecia family, culminating in the creation of these extraordinary gloves through the crafting process. However, as you invest more POE Currency, its performance will significantly improve.

These gloves are a new link skill-focused unique. They grant a bunch of increased aura effect from your skills when you have a linked target, and they make it so your auras can only affect you and a linked target, preventing them from applying their usual effect within an area around you.

Generosity Support

It’s important when we’re taking into account Generosity Support. Generosity Support is a support gem which doesn’t have any kind of cost and reservation multiplier. The whole idea of Generosity Support is that it boosts up the aura effect of any skills that you use, but it prevents that skill from affecting yourself.

There are some special interactions there with Generosity that already exist in the game, such as with Dread Banner and things like that. But the main use case of Generosity is in a support build where you’re providing your auras out to allies or minions or things like that.

However, Generosity has the supported auras do not affect us. Non-curse auras from your skills only apply to you and linked targets, which stops the aura from working on you, and it makes it so the aura will work on you, and you’ll still grant the aura effects from Generosity as well.

If you choose to go this route, let’s check out these gloves, weigh your glove slots to take advantage of them, and then use the generosity in your aura link to get an enormous boost in aura effectiveness. At Level 21, Generosity provides a 40% increased aura effect, and you can even use Awakened Generosity, which at Level 5, grants a 44% increased aura effect and adds one level to the linked aura gems.

Victario's Influence & Awakened Generosity Support

So, by making the tradeoff for the glove slot and employing these unique gloves, along with finding extra links to apply Generosity to your reserved auras, or utilizing this guide to enhance your auras, you can significantly improve their effectiveness.

Victario's Influence

By utilizing Victario's Influence, a unique body armor offering Level 30 generosity and significant reservation efficiency, you can enable the use of numerous reservation skills. However, I remain skeptical about whether sacrificing both your glove and body armor slots for this crafting is truly worthwhile.

Aura Interactions

Here are some notable aura interactions: a Level 23 Purity of Fire, Ice, or Lightning would gain an extra 2% maximum resistance, along with the resistance provided by the aura. That’s quite important for either a Chieftain or a character using the Melding of the Flesh.

A Level 21 Determination would gain 20% more armor and about 860 flat armor to go with from that 40% increase. A Level 21 Grace would gain 12% more evasion and 1,800 flat evasion, and a Level 21 Hatred would gain 10% of physical damage as extra cold and 7% more cold damage.

That’s good for a Physical to Cold Conversion build. And there're things like Vaal Haste as well, which would gain a massive improvement from this guide. All of those things that I just listed would be stronger with Awakened Generosity.
