How To Use The Best Path Of Exile 2 Witch Build?
Sep 20, 2024 Source: POECURRENCY
Witch is a new class in Path of Exile 2 and has undergone some major changes compared to the original. Witch is now positioned as the class with the most minions to choose from. She can intuitively command a large undead army, which is a far-reaching change. Rushing into large, challenging battles is now a little more fun.
You can automatically summon most of your minions, maintaining a large army of monsters on the battlefield. Summoning minions only costs Spirit, freeing up your mana and giving you more flexibility when facing multiple enemies.
In addition, additional minions can be obtained based on the buffs of the equipment you hold. As the game progresses, you can focus on collecting items that can summon minions without spending excess POE2 Currency to obtain additional resources.
Witch Summons
You can choose to build your undead army with minions with various strengths and weaknesses in Skill Gems menu, but how many minions you can summon depends on your total Spirit. Witches can also summon Zombies, but you must manually summon them from corpses on the battlefield, and they will not automatically regenerate once they die. Zombies are tougher than regular skeletons, however, and can last longer in battle.
Witches can also use Bind Spectre Spirit Gem to capture the spirits of defeated monsters and incorporate them into their army. The power of the defeated monster determines the amount of Spirit consumed.
Abilities
When your undead army is ready to go, you can cast helpful spells to support your skeleton troops, spread corruption, or become a damage dealer yourself. Here are Witch abilities we know about so far:
Bone Storm
Charge up Bone Storm and fire it at an enemy, which can deal heavy damage to a single target.
Contagion
Attack an enemy with Contagion debuff, causing continuous damage. When an enemy dies from Contagion, the infection spreads to other enemies. The longer the infection spreads, the more damage it causes. Minions summoned from infected corpses automatically carry the infection and spread it when attacking enemies.
Essence Drain
Essence Drain debuff is similar to Contagion, but it only affects enemies that have already been infected with Contagion, dealing extra damage to enemy units.
Pain Offering
Sacrificing one of your minions grants buffs to other members of your army, making them faster and more powerful.
Profane Ritual
Profane Ritual allows you to use leftover corpses after a battle to generate Power Charges. This allows you to use enhanced versions of some skills.
Unearth
If the player kills a monster or comes into contact with a corpse with Unearth, it creates bone constructs. These can be very powerful if you can gather enough of them.
Witch Build
While it is not clear which Witch build is the best choice in Path of Exile 2, based on what we have seen in Necromancer path, it is the best build so far, although some details may change in the future.
As a Witch, the type of enemies you encounter in each battle will determine which minions you need to summon. Your army needs to relieve you by dealing a lot of damage and taking on the bulk of the combat for you. It must also be strong enough to withstand continuous attacks. You need to use Bone Storms carefully on the battlefield, otherwise you may become a prime target.
It is recommended that you equip at least two Skeletal Warriors for each type of special minion you summon. Skeletal Warriors form the core of your army, providing continuous damage output and effective protection. If your micromanagement abilities are strong enough, it is recommended to have more specialized units. At the very least, you need to make sure not to ignore Skeletal Warriors and make full use of their unique powers.
More importantly, you need to make full use of the minions with special abilities. For example, Skeletal Sniper has a poisonous arrow that can be used to create a deadly gas cloud. Skeletal Arsonists can detonate themselves for massive damage.
But you need to spot them when they are about to die in order to maximize this deadly ability. You need to consider not only your own abilities when playing Witch, but also the abilities of your minions and how they can assist you in combat.
You need to regularly apply Contagion and Essence Drain to individual minions. Over a long fight, these sustained damage abilities will gradually accumulate to deal tremendous damage.
Similarly, using Unearth from time to time can also add extra power to your team. Also, remember to time your offering abilities just before your minions are about to die, so that you can extend your unit’s life as much as possible and get the benefits of spells such as Pain Offering.
In short, building the best Path Of Exile 2 Witch Build requires strategically combining your summons and abilities to create a powerful undead army. Prioritize collecting equipment that enhances your minion summoning abilities, and focus on Witch skills to maximize offensive and defensive potential.
Remember to manage your resources effectively and adjust your tactics depending on the enemies you face. Your Witch can become an unstoppable force in Path Of Exile 2.

What Will Distilled Emotions Do For You In Path Of Exile 2 Early Access?
As you explore Path of Exile 2 Early Access, you’ll often receive rewards from maps, most commonly loot or currency. But when you complete certain map nodes during the endgame mapping phase, the rewards you receive can have a tremendous impact on your build, especially for the more difficult endgame builds.
For example, Distilled Emotions from Delirium map nodes are a special reward that significantly increases Amulet in your character build. It can also increase the difficulty of certain maps, but the rewards you receive from these maps are bigger and better.
As this is a new element in POE 2 Early Access, it may be a challenge for both new Exiles who are just starting to experience it and returning Exiles from the original. This guide will show you how to obtain and use this important item so that you can maximize its role in the endgame.
Getting Distilled Emotions
As mentioned above, Distilled Emotions are rewards from Delirium map nodes, so this is the most consistent way to get them in POE 2. Delirium map nodes are clearly visible in the map set you need to explore with a solid white plus icon. Once you enter the map, you will find a Delirium mirror, which triggers Delirium fog that covers the entire map and spawns completely white Delirium monsters.
As with Breaches, another end-game map mechanic, the more Delirium monsters you defeat in it, the longer Delirium state lasts. When the state ends, Distilled Emotions will drop near where you were standing. It is important to note that the amount of this reward you get depends not only on the number of Delirium monsters you defeat but also on the rarity statistics of all the gear in your build.
So before challenging this map node, you can spend some POE 2 Regal Orbs in advance to make the rarity of your current gear go up a level, and add some affixes that can provide good buffs, which will also help your overall exploration difficulty.
Besides farming in Delirium map nodes, you can also use the currency you have to exchange Distilled Emotions. After you complete some activities, you can talk to an NPC called Alva and choose Currency Exchange. Just put a certain number of POE 2 Exalted Orbs in I Have box, and then you can get Distilled Emotions you need in I Want column.
How To Use Distilled Emotions?
Distilled Emotions can be used for a variety of purposes depending on your current needs in-game: if your build is weak in defense, you can use it to empower your Amulets with new passive skill points. Or if your build is strong enough and you want to get better loot from running the map, you can use it to infuse Waystones with Delirium. Here are the specific implementation methods for both uses.
Use For Amulets
Before adding passive skills with buffs to Amulets, you may need to first understand the attributes that your build focuses on. Then you can select specific passive skills for this attribute, the three Distilled Emotions that correspond to the skills, and Amulets themselves that can be empowered.
It is worth mentioning here that when using Distilled Emotions to add passive skills, try to choose skill points that are far away from the unlock path of the main passive skill points in your build, because this way you can easily get a node with a significant buff without spending a lot of POE 2 Currency to upgrade the node.
Next up is finding Distilled Emotions needed for those specific skills. You can hover your mouse over the massive POE 2 passive skill tree and hold Alt to see the exact name and order of Distilled Emotions required for that skill node. For example, Tainted Strike requires Ire, Despair, and Greed.
Once you know the type of Distilled Emotions you need to acquire, you can then acquire the specific item at Delirium map nodes or in trades. Once you have collected all of POE 2 Items, right-click your controller to open the instilling window and arrange them in order, then place Amulets in the slots at the top of the screen. Finally, click Instill to complete the operation.
While all of Amulets in the current POE 2 Early Access can be infused with passive skills, it’s best to choose the ones that best suit your endgame build so that you can maximize the effects of this gear and Distilled Emotions, after all, farming these two items is still a bit troublesome.
Used For Waystones
Using Distilled Emotions on Waystones works the same way as it does with Amulets, but here you just add Delirium modifiers to Waystones you need to explore the map, which makes the map nodes you explore more difficult, but gives you more rewards.
Note that infused Delirium map nodes will no longer reward you with Distilled Emotions, as Delirium fog in the map will not dissipate. You can however farm them for Simulacrum Splinters and special loot from and rare monsters.
Here’s how different Distilled Emotions affect map nodes, with Delirious stat indicating the number and strength of monsters that attack you in Delirium fog. The higher the number, the greater the number of enemies, and the higher the rewards.
- Distilled Despair: You in the area are 20% Delirious and Simulacrum Splinter stack size is increased by 30%.
- Distilled Disgust: You within the area are now 18% more Delirious and 30% more Precursor Tablets found.
- Distilled Envy: You in the area are now 15% Delirious and the number of Waystones found is increased by 30%.
- Distilled Fear: 22% of Delirious rare monsters have a 25% chance of gaining additional modifiers for you within the area.
- Distilled Greed: You in the area will be 10% Delirious and the rarity of items found will be increased by 8%.
- Distilled Guilt: You within the area will receive 9% Delirious increase 8% pack size.
- Distilled Ire: You within the area will have 7% Delirious and increase 20% magic monsters.
- Distilled Isolation: You in the area have 50% Delirious.
- Distilled Paranoia: You within the area will receive 12% Delirious increase 15% rare monsters.
- Distilled Suffering: You in the area receive 25% Delirious, and unique monsters gain an additional modifier.
Of course, before you infuse Distilled Emotions into Waystones, you must first make sure that your build is strong enough to complete all tough challenges, otherwise if you die in such maps, your losses will be very heavy.
The above is the introduction of how to obtain and use Distilled Emotions in the current POE 2 Early Access. I hope you can maximize the utilization of this important item in the game, and you can use it to get a better gaming experience. I wish you a happy game!

How To Find Sacrificial Heart In Path Of Exile 2 Early Access? - Location & Use
When you are grinding in the exploration of Path Of Exile 2 Early Access, your character’s build will have a great impact on your exploration process and play style. But in the crafting of the build, the increase of some skill points, such as passive skill points and weapon skill points, will give your build more possibilities.
Therefore, items that can provide skill point gains are worthy of your attention, such as Sacrificial Heart that appears in Act 3, which is described as a soul still clinging to fading shreds of life, which can provide you with permanent gains. In order to obtain this reward with an impressive effect, this guide will give you specific ways to obtain and use it, so that you can cultivate it in a targeted manner and use it reasonably.
Location
As mentioned earlier, Sacrificial Heart is located in Act 3 in POE 2 Early Access. So after you finish Act 2, which is a medium difficulty level, you can use the portal in Ziggurat Encampment to help you transfer to a new exploration area, which is Act 3. The NPCs you meet here are all new, and of course the loot you get from them is also different from before.
Currently, Sacrificial Hearts are dropped by enemies in two areas: Utzaal and Aggorat. Since Utzaal is the first exploration area you enter after passing through the portal in Ziggurat Encampment, you may have to defeat many enemies before picking up Sacrificial Heart. The advice here is to not be afraid of your character’s death and rebirth, and try your best to challenge the enemies who may reward you with this item.
Also, don’t forget that in the process of farming Sacrificial Hearts, you will also get other loot, such as gear or POE 2 Currency, and you can achieve the goal of farming these valuable items multiple times by resetting some profitable maps or boss encounters.
According to many players’ tests, the two enemies in Utzaal that are most likely to drop a Sacrificial Heart are Vaal Goliaths and Vaal Overseers, and you can challenge them multiple times to increase the chance of dropping. Although Aggorat also has these two enemies, it is more difficult to enter this area through the portal. You can follow the lead singing voice in the current area to the back of a giant statue after defeating Legion Blockade boss in Utzaal, where you will find stairs leading to a new location.
It is also worth noting that the more checkpoints you have in these two areas, the easier your exploration process will be, because you will always respawn at the checkpoint closest to the arena. Similarly, checkpoints can also help you fill in the gaps in time after failing a challenge, such as using POE 2 Exalted Orbs to add better affixes or modifiers to the gear in your build to facilitate your exploration again.

Usage
After you obtain Sacrificial Heart through the above methods, you can return to Aggorat and follow Trail of Sacrifice in this area to find Blood Sacrifice. You will see a checkpoint on the way, which monitors corpses that can cause you a lot of bleeding damage. So when you go on this quest, you should put some blood damage resistance and POE 2 Items in your build to avoid serious damage.
After clearing these enemies, you can see the stairs leading to a large altar. As you walk up the stairs, you can overlook the civilization below, which is an ultimate visual and mental enjoyment. There is a Sacrificial Dagger on the altar, which requires Sacrificial Heart to be used together.
The blood sacrifice ceremony begins when you take the dagger and place Sacrificial Heart in the center of the altar. You will see the Sacrificial Heart and Sacrificial Dagger merge into each other in your inventory, and an option called Stab Sacrificial Heart appears next to your character. When you click to perform this quest, you’ll see your character kneel down and stab the heart with the dagger you just acquired.
After this visually stimulating cutscene, the two items will no longer be in your inventory, but will instead be converted into permanent rewards: two passive skill points and two weapon skill points. These skill points can be spent on whatever abilities you want to focus on in your build, allowing you to round out your character build as you become more powerful.
Because they’re permanent, you can use them however you want to, just to make them more suitable for your exploration style. For example, you could use them to invest in or reduce the passive skills in your build that are related to specific elemental damage types, so that you have enough survivability in the later game content that POE 2 Early Access will bring.
Besides being able to do this in regular difficulty, in the harder Cruel difficulties you can collect another Sacrificial Heart in Act 3 and then destroy it again on the same Aggorat altar. While the permanent reward given to you remains the same, as long as you destroy it twice, you’ll get the reward twice!
The above is the specific method to obtain and use Sacrificial Heart that can provide you with more skill points in POE 2 Early Access. In this large-scale MMO, there are not many ways to obtain skill points like this easily, so this very useful item is very worthwhile for you to cultivate. I hope you can complete this process in the game as soon as possible and wish you a happy game!

Which Class Is More Suitable For You To Explore Path Of Exile 2 Early Access Alone?
In the last month of last year, the most anticipated Path of Exile 2 Early Access in the gaming circle was finally released, bringing very rich game content to players. As a large-scale MMORPG, the most important thing in the game is to choose a Class that suits you best, which will determine your game style and the game strategy you will use in this game.
In the current POE 2 Early Access, you will experience 6 Classes: Sorceress, Warrior, Monk, Witch, Ranger and Mercenary, each of which has a completely different game style. Although the new sequel provides players with the coveted couch cooperation and multiplayer features, there are still some players who prefer to explore this new game alone.
But unfortunately, the difficulty of POE 2 is recognized by many players as greater than the original, so whether it is for new exiles who have just come into contact or old exiles who have returned from the original, single-player exploration will be a great challenge. Fortunately, this guide will introduce you to several classes that can make your single-player exploration easier. You can choose according to your game style.
1. Sorceress
Sorceress is a very pure elemental magic user in POE 2. You can cast three different elemental magic damage (fire, frost and lightning) in a safe range away from the center of the battle, which is also the biggest advantage of this class.
If your build is strong enough, you can use Frost Nova to create a solid barrier for yourself after building a wall of fire to block the enemy, and cast chain lightning damage between the enemies. This will allow you to clear low-level and medium-level enemies in a very short time and pick up a lot of POE 2 Currency and loot from their corpses.
You can also use Sorceress’s ability to manipulate time and space to make the enemy unable to fight back in battle and can only safely suffer all the skills with high burst damage you cast. In addition, its crowd control ability can also effectively control those enemies with strong mobility and difficult to defeat, to cause greater damage later.
After talking about the advantages of Sorceress, let’s take a look at its disadvantages. Because of its low defense and health, Sorceress has been given the title of a glass cannon. Most importantly, Sorceress can only have a certain advantage in ranged attacks. Once the enemy gets close to you, you cannot use your weapons to cause strong melee damage, which is also a common disadvantage of all ranged classes.
So in the process of creating the best Sorceress build, try to use some shields with high defense attributes as the main means of defense. If you don’t have high-level items in the early and middle stages of the game, you can also upgrade your original shield through POE 2 Exalted Orbs and add an excellent affix to it, which will make it more tanky.
2. Ranger
Ranger is a new class added to this new sequel. Its arrival makes this game that advocates melee physical damage more diverse, because Ranger can use various natural forces to cause super high damage, debuffs or crowd control effects to distant enemies, so the construction of this class can be very diversified because you can focus on multiple element types on it.
Although Ranger, who is good at long-range attacks, has the same weakness as Sorceress that he cannot deal with close-range enemies, Ranger can keep enemies at a distance by creating some traps or vines to prevent them from getting close. At this time, you can use the expertise in the build, such as poison, lightning, fire, and even freezing, to cause irresistible damage to distant enemies.
Not only that, since the types of weapons used by classes in POE 2 are not restricted, Ranger can use various long-range weapons and combine the abilities of multiple classes to cause super damage to the enemy. This is most beneficial for single-player exploration players, because you can experience the fun of distinct characters in the same class, and you can use uncommon abilities in battle to make the enemy more vulnerable to multiple injuries.
3. Witch
Like Sorceress, Witch is also a class that is good at casting spells, but its focus has become necromancy and summoning minions. In battle, you can send your skeleton army to fight those enemies in close combat in the center of the arena; while you can buff the minions in a safe position and cause tremendous damage to the enemy.
Generally speaking, the more corpses you create in battle, the more minions you can use, and you will feel extremely smooth and controllable in battle. And the method of making these minions is also very simple. You just need to place some POE 2 Items that can increase their damage or defense capabilities in the build.
But it is worth reminding you that once you face a boss encounter that can cast group damage, and your minions are annihilated in an instant, Witch will lose its ability to survive. Although this is an extreme situation, it is not impossible. So in the process of using Witch for single-player exploration, try to keep the number of your minions within a controllable range, and never summon all at once.
4. Mercenary
Unlike the previous ranged classes, Mercenary’s defense and survivability are not so fragile. Some Mercenary builds can even actively attract enemies to deal close-range damage in order to launch a powerful counterattack. Although there is no fixed weapon type, Mercenary and the new crossbow can be perfectly combined. This new weapon type will continuously cause huge damage to the enemy like a gun, and it is in a mobile state.
Of course, Mercenary’s long-range attack ability is also very powerful. Different types of grenades and ammunition can cause huge burst damage to the enemy through crossbow, which also means that you can use multiple builds to make Mercenary get more damage potential, which makes the difficulty of single-player exploration a little lower and easier to control the progress of the game.
But this does not mean that Mercenary has no shortcomings. At present, the animation speed of its movement and attack on POE 2 is slow, which may make players feel that the picture is not coordinated. And this class pays more attention to group damage, and the damage ability to single-target enemies, such as various bosses, is not too strong.
The above are the most suitable Classes for single-player exploration in the current POE 2 Early Access. Although the road of single-player exploration is very hard, the sense of accomplishment and satisfaction gained after completion is something that ordinary people cannot feel. I hope these Classes can become your best helper in your exploration journey and bring you an unprecedented gaming experience!

How To Farm More Gear In Path Of Exile 2 Early Access? - 4 Methods
In the popular Path of Exile 2 Early Access, your character’s power depends largely on the build you choose for it, and the most important thing in the build is the gear that can provide you with a lot of powerful buffs. No matter what you want to achieve in the game, defeating enemies or clearing the map, gear will determine your play style and game strategy.
But the amount and variety of gear in a good build is very large, so you need to learn some of the easiest ways to farm gear in this guide, which will be very helpful for you to speed up your game progress and increase your game experience. Once you are proficient in these farming techniques, you can farm some gear according to your needs.
Farming Boss
As with many RPGs, the most stable and convenient way to farm gear in POE 2 Early Access is to defeat bosses that can provide you with very powerful and very sought-after loot repeatedly. And very importantly, some bosses in the current early access have their own loot pools, which will provide you with many unique rewards. The following is a list of bosses that can reward you with unique loot.
- Draven, The Eternal Praetor
- The Executioner
- Beira of the Rotten Pack
- The Crowbell
- The King in The Mists
- Constrictor Queen Kabala
While some of them have combat mechanics that are not difficult, you still need to upgrade or enhance the gear in your current build because you need to farm them repeatedly.
For example, spend some POE 2 Exalted Orbs to make some gear that can cause damage more effective, so that after you are familiar with the attack moves of these bosses and avoid damage in time, you can unscrupulously cast unpredictable damage on them. In addition, items that can provide a lot of health and healing or buff effects are also worth your attention.
During the exploration process, you may find that after challenging a boss, he will not appear again, in which case you need to reset map instances and this boss battle. First, you need to interact with Waypoint and find the area you want to reset (either the area you are currently standing in or another area).
Then hold down Ctrl and click the left button of your controller, and a menu will appear on your screen. You can select a new instance, and the enemies, bosses, and loot here will all reset, and you can farm them again and again.
Clearing Maps
If you want to farm all the items in the game, such as POE 2 Currency, experience points, and the very important gear in the build, then clearing maps is your best choice. Although you may experience some grinding here, repeatedly clearing enemies on a map you are familiar with and obtaining loot is one of the best ways to obtain them in the game.
Because it is already very troublesome to obtain a map that has never been explored and prepare for the mechanics it has, when you find a profitable map, you can spend a lot of time and energy here to defeat as many enemies as possible in it to obtain more loot.
If you have obtained gear that can increase the rarity of your pickups in previous explorations, please place it in your build before you clear the map, because it will make it much easier for you to farm those higher rarity POE 2 Items. Although it is a bit boring to go through the entire map and defeat all movable objects repeatedly, believe me, it is absolutely worth your effort.
Participate In Trials
For some players with poor exploration skills, Trials can be a very scary thing. Therefore, this method of farming is more recommended for those who are mid-to-high-level players, because these extremely challenging and combat-centric encounters will test your skills, endurance, and the use of your builds, which is not available in other game content.
Currently in POE 2 Early Access, the best trials for farming gear, resources, and POE 2 currency are Trial of The Sekhemas and Trial of Chaos. They both produce very rich rewards during the run, but the rewards of Trial of Chaos are a little better.
However, this also means that Trial of Chaos is a little more challenging. If you find yourself struggling to run it, you can use the new multiplayer function added to this new game to have your friends teleport to this trial and complete the exploration together.
Trading
If you think the above farming methods are too much time consuming and labor-intensive, you can also directly obtain gear through trading. Trading gear or crafting materials with other players is one of the fastest ways to prepare your character’s build for the endgame.
In addition, the gear you obtained in the previous farming methods that is not suitable for the current build can also be traded with many players for some POE2 Currency to enhance your character. Please note that those gears that are useless or of little use to you should be traded or disassembled as soon as possible, otherwise your storage space will become very small and your build will not be strong enough.
The above are some of the current methods for farming gear in POE 2 Early Access. After you enter Act 2 and later game content, you can carry out targeted farming according to your build needs, and at that time your construction ideas in the game will be basically clear, and you will have your own game strategy. I hope you can have fun and get a smooth gaming experience!

What Are The Ways To Increase Spirit In Path Of Exile 2?
When fighting in POE 2, besides the skills based on the class you play, you can also use items to gain effective resistance against different types of enemies, or different benefits provided by various resources, so that you can survive to the end and win smoothly.
Among these resources, Spirit is one that deserves your attention, because it is an indispensable component of some builds. Most builds in Path of Exile 2 can use Spirit in a special form, but only if you have enough POE 2 Currency to make full use of it.
In terms of benefits, Spirit can give you continuous passive gains to help you gain an advantage in battle. And these gains come in many forms, and you can use uncut Spirit gems to equip different types of Spirit to unused slots to obtain these gains-especially if your build is related to minions, because summoning minions requires Spirit consumption.
By default, in the current POE 2 early access, each build starts with zero Spirit as the initial state, so you cannot use any Spirit gems to gain Spirit at the beginning of the game. But luckily, as soon as you enter Act I, you will have at least 30 Spirit very quickly, and you can start earning Spirit on your own right after that.
With that in mind, we’ll show you the three main ways you can currently earn Spirit in POE 2.
1. Get Spirit Items From Bosses
As you know, after killing a boss in Path of Exile 2, a variety of loot will drop, including an item that can help you boost your Spirit, besides the versatile POE 2 Chaos Orbs and gear available in battle.
For example, in Act I there is an Ominous Altars quest located in the Freythorn area. Once you enter this quest, you need to destroy and clean up three altars scattered around the map, the last of which is guarded by a Boss called The King in the Mists. Although it’s difficult to defeat it, the boss will drop an item called Gembloom Skull if you succeed.
Once picked up, the item is added to your inventory, and if you choose to consume it, your Spirit will increase by 30, which is enough to equip a Spirit gem with your character in Act 1. Of course, if you need more gems, you’ll need to continue to find and kill new Spirit bosses, including the following:
- Freythorn (Act 1): The King in the Mists, +30 Spirit.
- The Azak Bog (Act 3): Ignaduk, The Bog Witch, +30 Spirit.
- The Azak Bog (Act 3): Ignaduk, The Bog Witch (Cruel Difficulty), +40 Spirit.
However, there are many common bosses that have the potential to drop Spirit-boosting items. However, since they are not all story bosses, you will need to check the boss’ icons in the areas you visit on the map to determine which bosses you can fight. Although these bosses will not necessarily drop Spirit items after death, they may bring you a rare piece of gear.
2. Use Specific Gear
When you find a new piece of gear, whether it’s a weapon or armor, hover over the icon to see its affixes - if one affix is to increase Spirit, then equipping it will naturally increase the Spirit you have.
Currently, two examples of this type of gear are Scepter, which increases Spirit by +100, and Solar Amulet, of which Scepter has a more prominent effect.
But it should be noted that Scepter is a one-handed weapon, and you need to equip it in your off-hand. So if you are also using a two-handed weapon or an off-hand shield, you can’t use Scepter. Fortunately, you can still choose Solar Amulet or other gear instead.
If you are unlucky and the gear you get does not have the affix that increases Spirit, you can try to use Exalted Orb to add new additional affixes to your items. Or gambling with random gear vendors may also allow you to get some gear with Spirit affixes.
3. Choose Infernalist As Your Ascendancy Class
This method is more limited than the first two methods, because Infernalist is only Ascendancy of Witch class, so if you play another base class or haven’t unlocked Ascendancy yet, you can’t play as an Infernalist.
But when you enter the endgame as a Witch, you will choose to unlock Infernalist Ascendancy, and open a new skill tree with many nodes to choose from. Beidat’s Will node will increase your Spirit for every 25 increase in your maximum health.
This means that if your maximum health is already high, you can accumulate additional Spirit without having to try the first two Spirit increase methods. Although this also means that you always need to reserve a part of your life for the Spirit, if you can accept this, then choosing Infernalist is a good way.
And Infernalist Ascendancy allows you to choose more life-boosting nodes later, allowing you to find a way to offset the life loss caused by Beidat’s Will while still gaining Spirit.
If you can master these three methods, I believe you will gain enough Spirit to help you in the battle and win as many victories as possible in your POE 2 journey. Good luck!

How Many Permanent Rewards Will You Get In POE 2 Early Access? - Act 1 & Act 2
As you explore Path of Exile 2 Early Access that has been honed for ten years, you will find that besides some enemies that you must defeat, there are also some optional bosses waiting for your challenge, which often provide some permanent rewards for your character, including fixed health, Elemental Resistances, Spirit, Attributes, Mana Regen, and Passive Skill Points.
Of course, in addition to defeating those optional bosses, you can also get some of the above permanent rewards by obtaining some items for NPCs in the game. These key attributes can easily fill the gaps in your build caused by insufficient gear, and you don’t have to go through endless grinding and farming, so it is very worthwhile to spend time and energy to obtain them.
However, since there are 3 acts of game content in POE 2 Early Access, and the permanent rewards in each act are very generous, this guide will introduce you to all the rewards in Act 1 and Act 2. It should be noted in advance that since POE 2 is still in early access, the rewards introduced here may change after the official release, and we will continue to pay attention.
Act 1
Whether you are a new Exile or a veteran, the most desirable thing in Act 1 is to increase your survivability, because surviving on the early game content is the key.
So the 10 Cold Resistance you can get when you explore Clearfell is very important to your build. You can find an optional boss called Beira of Rotten Pack in the middle of this area and defeat it. Not only that, you can get an additional 20 maximum health points by interacting with Psalm of Madness and defeating Candlemass in Ogham Manor, which can also enhance your character’s survivability.
In addition, unlocking more skill points in POE 2’s huge passive skill tree as soon as possible is also very important for early exploration, which will add more benefits to your build so that you can more easily obtain POE 2 Currency.
So when passing through Hunting Grounds area, you can stop for a while and defeat the optional enemy Crowbell here to gain 2 additional passive skill points. Besides this area, you can also return Una’s Lute to this NPC at Clearfell Encampment in Ogham Farmlands, which will also reward you with 2 passive skill points.
In POE 2, whether Classes focus on physical damage or spell damage, the Spirit attribute will be essential. However, because of the different focuses of each build, the talent points allocated to this attribute will be very small. But don’t worry, you can get an additional 30 points of Spirit and an Uncut Spirit Gem by completing all the rituals in Freythorn and summoning and defeating King in the Mist. It is worth noting that Uncut Spirit Gem will only drop when you challenge this boss for the first time.
When you get a piece of gear in the game that provides a bad buff and rarity, you can sell it or disassemble it. But when you bring some Smithing Tools to Renly in Clearfell Encampment in Ogham Village, you will have another way to deal with these seemingly useless gear - Salvaging Bench, which can make your excess gear more useful in a special mechanism.
Before unlocking Salvaging Bench, if you want to increase the rarity of a piece of gear or the buffs it can provide you, you can also do this by spending some POE 2 Exalted Orbs. This is more convenient and simpler than Salvaging Bench, and you can choose to accord to your game style.
Act 2
In Act 2, which is a relatively mid-game content, you need to start focusing on your build’s damage capabilities instead of just stacking defense performance. However, you still need to pay great attention to the passive skill points that are very important to your character build. There are also two locations in Act 2 where you can get some additional passive skill points.
The first location is Keth, where you need to find and defeat Kabala, Constrictor Queen. The other location where you can get passive skill points is Deshar, where you need to find the Final Letter and bring it to Shambrin in Ardura Caravan.
When entering this stage of the game content, you will encounter enemies that can inflict lightning damage on you, so the 10 points of Lightning Resistance obtained from Spires of Deshar are particularly important. You need to interact with Sisters of Garukhan shrine at the end of this area, but it should be noted that this location is not marked on the map, so you may need to spend time looking for it.
Besides these permanent rewards, you can also find selectable rewards in three areas: Keth, Bone Pits, and Valley of the Titans. In this quest, you need to first find Kabala Clan Relic in Keth to find Sun Clan Relic in Bone Pits, and then take them to the altar in Valley of the Titans.
After that, you can choose between two rewards - a 30% increase in Charm Charges you get or a 15% increase in Mana Recovery from Mana Flasks. No matter which one you choose, it will be of great help to your subsequent POE 2 journey.
The above are all the permanent rewards you will get in Act 1 and Act 2 of POE 2 Early Access. Once you experience the fun of exploring these side quests and optional bosses, you will love this new sequel even more and get a great gaming experience from it. I wish you a happy game!
