This New Cluster Will Help You Get Stun Avoidance More Easily In POE 3.21!

Apr 03, 2023

In this article, I want to go over a brand new cluster that’s been added to the passive skill tree, and this is all about getting Stun Avoidance on any build that really goes deep onto the right side of the tree. It’s going to be especially useful for Rangers and Shadows and maybe some Scion builds, too.

New Perfectionist Cluster

But basically, there’s been a new cluster added. It’s called Perfectionist, and it’s positioned right in the middle of the Shadow and Ranger start locations. This cluster provides a total of 60% chance to avoid Stuns on a three-point cluster as 15% on each small node and 30% on the notable. And it has an added bonus of providing 5% bonus move speed as well.

POE 3.21 New Cluster

Ranger

Gaining Stun Avoidances on Ranger is going to be pretty trivial because pretty much every Ranger build already specs into Heart of Oak for the life that it provides, but also has the 20% chance to avoid being stunned, too. And the small nodes have 8% each.

So, just using this Heart of Oak and the Perfectionist cluster, a character will have a total of 88% chance to avoid Stuns that is assuming that you’re only taking one of the small nodes to grab the Heart of Oak.

From here, you can simply cap Stun Avoidance with any item mod, such as the Searing Exarch Implicit on boots tier one begins at 15%. So, that’s plenty enough to reach the Stun cap. You could also craft avoidance on body armor using the Betrayal craft that begins at 20% or you could get Stun Avoidance on Abyss Jewels even the lowest tier is 21%. So, that’s going to be able to cap your Stun Avoidance, too.

POE Heart of Oak

Shadow, Scion & Others

Meanwhile, what about Shadow?

Shadow is probably a little less likely to pass down into Heart of Oak, so you’re going to be gaining just the 60% from the new Perfectionist cluster. But that’s fine. You can still easily cap Stun Avoidance with a combination of the mods that I’ve just suggested.

So, you could go for the crafted Betrayal mod, for example, the lowest on that is 20%. Then, the lowest Abyssal Jewel was 21% so that’s over 40%. So, we’re going to be capping it just from that or you could even go for a combination of the other two, like the Abyssal Jewel plus the Searing Exarch Boots Implicit. All the Exarch boots are implicit with the Betrayal craft on body armor. Any of these will work as long as the combination of the two mods adds up to 40% or more. With the cluster involved as well, you have easy Stun Avoidance. So, it’s just that simple.

Conclusion

100% Stun Avoidance has never been so easy to gain. 100% Stun Avoidance on builds on the right-hand side is usually a bit more difficult, you usually have to spend a lot POE Currency on different mods and things like that on gear.

But this new cluster is actually really good. It’s only three points, and it’s in a really nice place on the tree that most builds path through, if you’re on that side of the tree or if you’re just passing into the right side there. But this is a great addition to the tree. This new cluster is going to make capping Stun Avoidance really easy for those Evasion-based builds.
