Vaal Lightning Arrow Deadeye Build - PoE 3.21 Crucible League

Apr 20, 2023

I’m so excited to be able to share an exciting new build with you again today. I’ll share all the basic details you need to know about this build to help you figure out if this build is right for you.

For those new to Path of Exile Crucible, my thorough analysis of this build can also help you make an informed decision before jumping into Path of Exile and starting to try out any POE characters. If you’re interested in what you’ve seen and want to try out this build, be sure to read on for POB and its full guide.

Vaal Lightning Arrow Deadeye

Today’s build is a build of Ranger class, Vaal Lightning Arrow Deadeye, and in Crucible, this build has brought a brand new projectile attack. In the age of Archers we live in now, almost no one wants to invest in projectiles.

However, most attack projectiles have almost doubled the damage compared to traditional bows, so there are still many players who want to try projectile attacks. Now Lightning Arrow’s Vaal patch has a lot of improvements right here, perfect for killing bosses.

Pros & Cons

To list the pros of this build, I’m not sure I’ll start with its clear speed or its boss damage, as both are above average for all builds in Path of Exile. The build isn’t complicated either, especially for beginners, and it’s definitely the perfect mid-league build of all the builds available right now.

Now list the disadvantages. I believe many players will find it expensive after using it. Lioneye’s Fall is the main reason. But I believe it will drop in price in a few weeks. Players don’t need to worry too much.

The Budget

Regarding the budget, as I mentioned earlier, it’s an expensive build right now, and you’ll need about 10 Divine Orbs to assemble it. Luckily, you can find all the gear you need to get for this build, as well as other types or fan favorite gear in POE Currency.

For this build, you only need two mandatory unique items. The first is of course Lioneye’s Fall jewel, which provides a number of useful nodes in our passive tree. Next we also need a Yoke of Suffering Amulet, which increases all of our elemental damage for a short period, so our enemies take more damage.

How To Use This build

The cleanup speed of this build is even more impressive. You fire many projectiles at a high attack speed, and those projectiles returning to you will impale enemies and bounce off walls. You even have your Mirage Archer to fire more projectiles and no one survives. Its boss damage is also amazing, well worth trying out this build.

PoE 3.21 Lightning Arrow Deadeye Guide

Use two Vaal Lightning Arrows, plus your Ballistas on the boss, and you’ll kill them so quickly, it’s unbelievable. This survivability is also excellent across a wide range of builds.

And you also have armor evasion and spell suppression, which can give you almost 50000 effective HP. But the main reason this build is safe is because you can kill all the bosses from a very long distance, you just have to watch your position.

That’s all I need to share today. What do you guys think of this Vaal Lightning Arrow Deadeye? If you have other ideas, you are welcome to discuss them in the community. Have a great day and don’t forget to keep building.
