  • A Complete Guide On Lightning Arrow Deadeye Build For POE 3.22

A Complete Guide On Lightning Arrow Deadeye Build For POE 3.22

    Sep 04, 2023

Greeting, Exiles! Today’s build is the most played one in the POE 3.22 Trial of the Ancestors league so far, the Vaal Lightning Arrow Deadeye with the Ranger class.

Even though Vengeant Cascade was nerfed, the introduction of the Returning Projectile support gem kept this build super fast and strong, which caused most of the players to choose it.

During last league, I released a Lightning Arrow guide that needed some expensive unique items and this time I’m going to make it different.

On this guide, you’ll find two versions of this build: a budget and a complete one. Each one has its own POB and Passive Tree, so you can start this build even on a low budget and upgrade it later.

    Equipment

    • Yoke of Suffering Onyx Amulet
    • Loath Fletch Decimation Bow
    • Pain Guide Decimation Bow (if you have more POE Currency)
    • Maelstrom Spear Blazing Arrow Quiver
    • Hyrri’s Ire
    • Rune Curtain Zodiac Leather
    • Mind Salvation Silken Hood
    • Woe Ward Ursine Pelt
    • Wrath Fingers Slink Gloves
    • Agony Claw Wyrmscale Gauntlets
    • The Taming Prismatic Ring
    • Divine Life Flask
    • Diamond Flask
    • Cranite Flask
    • Quicksilver Flask
    • Jade Flask

Look for those mods on rare items:

    • Added Lightning Damage
    • Projectile Damage
    • Critical Multiplier
    • Elemental Resistances
    • Intelligence
    • Added Fire Damage
    • Added Cold Damage
    • Elemental Damage With Attacks
    • Life
    • Strength

    Gems

    • Bow: Vaal Lightning Arrow, Inspiration, Elemental Damage With Attacks, Trinity, Returning Projectiles, Increased Critical Damage
    • Armour: Artillery Ballista, Inspiration, Elemental Focus, Focused Ballista, Elemental Damage With Attacks, Increased Critical Damage
    • Helmet: Vaal Molten Shell, Berserk, Sniper’s Mark, Mark On Hit
    • Gloves: Dash, Precision, Anger, Determination
    • Boots: Frenzy, Manaforged Arrows, Power Charge On Critical, Summon Ice Golem

    Jewels

    • Thread of Hope
    • Lioneye’s Fall
    • Watcher’s Eye

    Skill Tree

This is the Budget Skill Tree.

And this is the Complete Skill Tree.

    Ascendancy

This is the Ascendancy of this build.

    Pros

To list the pros of this build, I’m not sure if I would start with its clear speed or boss damage because both are amazing. This build is also not complicated to put together. I totally recommend you to try it out.

    Cons

Now, to list the cons, I’d say that this build is not very tanky.

Even though you have some defensive layers, it’s important to take advantage of your ranged attacks and stay far from danger. If you don’t mind your position, you might die.

    Budget

About the budget, you can get it destroying early endgame maps with only around 80 Chaos Orbs.

To comfortably advance to Yellow Maps, I recommend investing around 150 Chaos Orbs. And for easily completing your atlas, I recommend investing around 4 Divine Orbs. But if you go for the complete version, you need to invest at least 4 more Divine Orbs.

Don’t forget it on poebuilds.net, you can find a list with all the equipment that you need to buy for this build with direct links for examples being sold by other players.

    Mandatory Items

On the budget version, you only need one mandatory unique item for this build, the Yoke of Suffering amulet that causes other Elemental Damage to shock. This way, our enemies take a lot more damage.

On the complete version, on the other hand, besides the Yoke of Suffering, you also need a Lioneye’s Fall and the Thread of Hope unique jewels. They are expensive but grant a huge boost to your damage.

    Clear Speed

For clear speed, I’ll give it 10 out of 10.

You fire many projectiles with high attack speed and those projectiles return to your pierce enemies, bounce of walls, and go everywhere. No one can survive that.

    Boss Damage

The boss damage is also amazing and deserves 10 out of 10.

Using 2 Vaal Lightning Arrows splits your ballistas on bosses will kill them so fast that you won’t believe it.

    Survivability

For this survivability, I’ll give this build 8 out of 10.

Even though you have armor, evasion, spell suppression, and can kill enemies from a good distance, this build isn’t very tanky. If you don’t mind your position, you might die.

  • How to Profit Craft a High Elemental Resistance Ring in POE 3.22? - Dragon Loop Topaz Ring

How to Profit Craft a High Elemental Resistance Ring in POE 3.22? - Dragon Loop Topaz Ring

    Aug 30, 2023

In this guide, we're crafting a high Elemental Resistance ring (Dragon Loop Topaz Ring), featuring life and minus mana cost either for your build or you can sell it on for a profit.

    Buying a Base

With Tier 1 Fractured Fire Resistance, this ring was 10 Chaos Orbs from trade and will work just fine for what we need.

    Crafting Begins

Let's start by fixing the basics.

Scour the ring back down to Magic and apply 10 Prismatic Catalysts. These apply a 20% quality bonus to resistance modifiers and make a huge difference later on.

Next, max roll the implicit Lightning Resistance to 30% using Blessed Orbs.

Our next stage is to get the other two missing suffix resistances. We currently have Fractured Fire Resistance, so we need to roll for Cold Resistance or Lightning Resistance.

    Reforging Suffixes

After using a Regal Orb to make the ring rare, we can use the Harvest Bench to begin rolling.

Here, you are looking for either Tier 1 or Tier 2 in both the missing resistances (in this case, Cold Resistance and Lightning Resistance).

Like here, we land Tier 4 and Tier 2. It's not quite good enough, so let's carry on.

Since the Fire Resistance is fractured. It can never be removed. This makes it much easier to get all three resist suffixes. You can either use reforge cold or lightning here. But the Harvest currency was cheaper for lightning, so we used that one to keep costs down.

Through unremitting efforts, we have become perfect. We landed Tier 1 lightning and Tier 2 cold. Our suffixes are now finished.

    Lock Suffixes

Our next step is to lock the suffixes, so they cannot be lost. We use a metacraft called "Suffixes Cannot Be Changed" to do this.

This can be done either at the Crafting Bench for two Divine Orbs or using a Wild Bristle Matron beast, which is currently 1.5 Divine Orbs. Ensure you have an open prefix as you'll need one here for the metacraft.

It's great that our suffixes are now locked and protected. And we are ready for the next step.

    Veiled Chaos

Now, we can focus on the prefixes.

With suffixes locked, we can apply a Veiled Chaos Orb. This has a very low chance to add some junk mods. But hopefully, we just get a single veiled modifier. If it bricks, you'll need to annul, re-lock suffixes, and go again.

Before unveiling, use the Crafting Bench to add a low tier Mana mod to block unwanted unveils. This drastically improves the odds to unveil life, which is what we want here.

Unveil with Jun when you're ready. Here is our life prefix. It's very nice.

The ring is nearly complete and we can move on to the final step.

    Bench Craft

Lastly, we need to replace the Crafting Bench mod to something useful as we only use the low tier Mana as a block.

We'll be using "Non-Channeling Skills have -7 To Total Mana Cost", which is an unveil mod from Elreon, Loremaster. This can be formed from Betrayal, and there we are.

That's the ring all done from start to finish. It still has an open prefix if a buyer wanted to exalt slam it, but we'll leave it as it is for now.

    Price Check

If we now give the ring a quick price, check for over 200 total resistance, 55 life, and our minus seven Mana cost, it seems to be currently worth around 6 to 9 Divine Orbs.

Our total cost to craft was just under 3 Divine Orbs, so it can be a healthy profit craft for now.

  • Chaos Blazing Salvo Totem Update & First Impressions of POE 3.22 Trial of the Ancestors League

Chaos Blazing Salvo Totem Update & First Impressions of POE 3.22 Trial of the Ancestors League

    Aug 23, 2023

Here, I’ll take you through a quick my progress for the first three days of POE 3.22 Trial of the Ancestors league

I league started with Chaos Blazing Salvo Totem build and like what I have tested before, levelling was very easy and smooth. I did not find any wand with plus one to fire the spell during the campaign. So, I just used the best wand I could find before switching to The Consuming Dark daggers at level fifty-three.

Also Read: How To Make Chaos Blazing Salvo Totem Hierophant Build With Extremely Low Budget In POE 3.22?

As you know, the Act Bosses were taken down very quickly. I had access to a lot of life nodes on the skill tree, so survivability was never an issue.

    Mapping & Gear Progression

I did not buy any gear before I hit yellow maps, except for the two Consuming Dark, which I bought for one Chaos Orb each.

These were my gears when I was running white maps. You can see that these gears are really bad.

So really, this build is very cheap to start with. You don’t need any gear to start this build, not even Consuming Dark, but it’s nice to have them if you have the POE Currency. They are the priorities when it comes to upgrading your gears because they give a huge damage boost.

These are my gears when running yellow maps:

    • Consuming Dark - 1c x 2
    • Kikazaru - 1c
    • Soul Mantle - 1c
    • Mindspiral - Self Found
    • Self-flagellation jewel - 4c
    • Dragon Beads Citrine Amulet - 1c
    • Viper Horn Royal Burgonet - 1c
    • Stygian Vise - 4c
    • Brood Solace Crimson Jewel - 1c
    • Whispering Sight Ghastly Eye Jewel - 1c
    • Dire Grip Gloves - 2c
    • Rune Track Boots - 2c
    • Bramble Nail Two Stone Ring -10c

The whole set of gears costs about thirty Chaos Orbs, which is slightly higher than what I expected. The most expensive piece is the curse on hit despair ring, which costs me ten Chaos Orbs

The rest of my gears and jewels are very cheap, and I even found some that I could use for my build. I changed my helmet to Mindspiral after the uber lab. I was lucky to get this despair curse effect enchantment during my first uber lab.

However, a helmet enchantment is not needed for farming red maps. I found a jewel with a reduced curse effect on me and some other nice mods, so currently I am not using the minor god Yugul.

In this league, Yugul can be found in Terrace Map, which is a Tier 8 map. You can also get reduced curse effect by using Tattoo of the Hinekora Deathwarden

My next upgrade is to get a six-link Soul Mantle, preferably with the plus two to socketed gems corrupted implicit. I’m going to use some tattoos on my skill tree where I see fit.

    Trial of the Ancestors

I only started to engage with the league mechanics after I finished the campaign.

The mechanics could be a little confusing at first. But in my opinion, it’s very fun and exciting. The more I play, the more I like it.

When running through the campaign or mapping, you would often find Silver Coins, which can be used to create an entrance to the Halls of the Dead

Once you are inside, you activate the waypoint and next time you wanna come here you can just click this. When you touch the Well of Passing, it transports you to sort of the afterlife.

To participate in the Trial of the Ancestors, you go to the very end and click this.

These are the opponents that you will be fighting against depending on which ones you choose. The sponsors basically mean that, by winning this match, you will earn five hundred favours with the Kitava Tribe

After the match, you can visit the NPC and buy warriors or equipment for the next round using the Favours earned.

Depending on the opponent, you will get different rewards after winning each match. I always prioritize the rewards. But if none of the rewards are good, I choose my opponent based on the Favours earned.

This is Round 1. You will need to win multiple matches to eventually win a tournament.

To win a match, you must destroy all enemies’ totems while preventing the enemies from doing the same to your totems. The only way to destroy the enemies’ totems is by channeling them to lower their life until they explode.

After winning the match, you can then collect your reward.

    My Strategy

There are four positions on the field: Attacker, Flanker, Escort, and Defender.

I always prioritize the positions, Attacker and Flanker. I only fill up the positions, Escort and Defender, when I get more Warriors after a few rounds. This is because I feel like the Attackers also serve as a very good line of defense.

The Attackers will always prioritize fighting the opponents before destroying the totems. So, they will attack the enemies and stop them from going to our side, thus our totems are protected.

Flankers are important, as their priority is to destroy the enemies’ totems. So, when we are busy fighting mid-field, the flankers will try to sneak into the enemies’ back and destroy their totems.

Defenders usually stay with the totems while Escorts are to escort you and join you in whatever you do in the fight.

It feels good to play a totem build this league. This is because you will be stunned for a few seconds if you get hit when channeling the enemies’ totems. If you’re playing a self-cast build, these few seconds are deadly because you’re left completely defenseless.

I usually place the totems around me when channeling the enemies’ totems. So, if I get hit and stunned when channeling the enemies’ totems, my totems will deal damage to the enemies approaching me so that I don’t get killed.

  • My Atlas Tree Progression & Currency Strategy For POE 3.22 Trial Of The Ancestors League

My Atlas Tree Progression & Currency Strategy For POE 3.22 Trial Of The Ancestors League

    Aug 15, 2023

Here, I want to show you my Atlas Tree progression and currency strategy for the first couple of days in POE 3.22 Trial of the Ancestors League.

The basics of this strategy are very simple. We want to progressively spec into Expedition and Map Nodes, later on adding Searing Exarch, Blight and last but not least some Betrayal Nodes.

The reason for that is this combination of league mechanics gives us access to POE Currency, maps, and items via Rog crafting and Veiled item drops from Betrayal.

    Expedition & Map Nodes

In terms of Atlas progression, you want to follow the right lane until you hit Shaping the Mountains followed by a Stream of Consciousness, Extreme Archeology and Ancient Writings.

You then want to go back for Hunt For Answers, allocating the right arm of the wheel for increased chance to encounter Expedition. And only then do you spec into a Distinguished Demolitionist.

Commissioned Officer gives more Kirac Missions, which help fill out the Atlas and is on the way to the top of the Atlas Passive Tree, anyway. So, allocating it is a no-brainer.

The next node we want is Shaping the World, including the small passive next to it to get access to higher map tiers and, of course, for connected map drops.

We follow this up with Buried Knowledge while allocating the left arm of the wheel for additional Expedition Chance once again. We round out the first half of the tree by speccing into Shaping the Skies and Covert Stakeouts to start encountering Jun more frequently.

Then, we allocate a Noble Quest and Scratchin’ up the Ground and the last Expedition cluster.

We now have a decent chance of encountering a fully fleshed out Expedition, roughly two-thirds of the maps. Of course, this is without any further investment. And all maps have a 70% chance to be one tier higher, which helps to progress our Atlas further.

    Blight & Searing Exarch

The other half of the Atlas Tree progression revolves around Blight and Searing Exarch nodes.

Searing Exarch is usually more approachable than Eater of Worlds for most builds, including melee builds and gives access developable currency, like Chaos Orbs, Orbs of Unmaking and Awakened Sextants.

It’s important to allocate those nodes. If you want to make use of the influence alternatively, you can wait and use the Maven or Eater of Worlds’ influence to progress those mechanics first by utilizing either Destructive Play or the Eater of Worlds cluster, respectively.

While progressing those mechanics, you can start putting points into Blight nodes. Unlike Expedition, the small nodes rarely ever increase the chance for an encounter, which is why it’s sensible to wait until Tier 14 maps and then force the encounter using either Rusted Blight Scarab or the Blight Map Crafting Option, which is accessible via Mycelial Swarm.

After getting Epidemiology and Mycelial Swarm, you should go with a Sturdy Construction and potentially Cassia’s Pride. Whether you want to allocate the Keystone depends on your build’s ability to handle the Blight encounters. If you’re still struggling, I would definitely give it a try.

You should then finish the Blight nodes by allocating Blightspawn and Distilled Fungus. Fungal Bloom is something I don’t really recommend. As I mentioned earlier, the small nodes rarely ever increase the chance of a Blight encounter, meaning we have to force the mechanic anyway, making those points flat out useless.

    Betrayal & Optimization

The last part of the strategy includes connecting the top parts, speaking of the nodes in the center to make room for the nodes that block league mechanics while also increasing the chance to encounter other content.

You want to allocate All Hands once you no longer need Kirac Missions and rearrange the right side of the Atlas Passive Tree to get access to important Betrayal nodes to boost union counters for them.

The maps are run as Alch & Go and in general with either a Rusted Blight Scarab or the Blight Map Crafting Option once you’ve reached your Tier 14 maps and have invested into roughly half of the Blight nodes.

Just make sure to spec out of Stream of Consciousness if you want to use Scarabs to force the Blight encounter. The Lockbox and Blighted maps can either be sold, run, or stored for later usage, which allows you to customize your league start experience based on your own preferences.

I’ll tell that there’s also the new league mechanic, but at this point, it’s hard to tell how rewarding it will be.

  • Lightning Conduit Elementalist League Starter For POE 3.22 Trial Of The Ancestors League

Lightning Conduit Elementalist League Starter For POE 3.22 Trial Of The Ancestors League

    Aug 14, 2023

Here’s a quick league starter for POE 3.22. We have first on the list, Lightning Conduit

Why Do We Use Lightning Conduit For League Start?

This is pretty easy to league start even with a bunch of powerful unique items. We can still get more than 4 million DPS, which is exactly what you need to unlock your Watchstones and progress the Atlas.

Trust me, when I say this is a tested league starter, I will show you how to level this build from Act 1 to endgame. We have a basic defensive structure if we are using a Lightning Coil with Determination. We don’t have a spell suppression and our spell block is as low as 8%.

So, this can be considered as a jump starter Glass Cannon build if you are looking to kill stuff fast and get killed fast.

We will run Elemental Overload, which means forgetting about Critical Strikes.

    Unique Items

And we are dual wielding two Singularities

Our main source of five-link comes from this cheap Thunderfist Murder Mitts gloves, which grants a level 30 added lightning damage support.

Some of Exiles out there might say I think that’s expensive, especially on a league start. Well, I’ve got news for you more runs. It’s pretty freaking expensive at seven Chaos Orbs. So, deal with it.

Other super expensive stuff includes one Chaos Orb Valako’s Sign ring and 10 Chaos Orbs Crown of the Inward Eye helmet. Everything else is just rare POE Items with spell damage, cast speed, life, and resistances.

    Cluster Jewels

If you can manage to get a large Cluster Jewel with the Overshock (Chimeric Shine) and a medium cluster duel with Heraldry (Phoenix Shard).

Then, that’s a 1 million extra damage for you.

    Gem & Skill Setup

Our basic gem setup includes a four-link Orb of Storms with Unbound Ailments, Increased AOE, and Chain Support.

Lightning Conduit is linked to our five-link gloves with Elemental Focus, Lightning Penetrate and Hypothermia. Do not use Hypothermia until you unlock your final lab for Shaper of Winter. Use Arcane Surge Support until then.

We have a double curve setup for Conductivity and Elemental Weakness linked to the Arcanist Brand or Aura setup includes Wrath, Determination and Herald of Thunder.

Since we are using Determination our Guard Skill is a Molten Shell on left click.

Our movement ability is better than Leap Slam. When you use a Lightning Warp, you need to bring down its duration as much as possible. For this, we have less duration support, faster casting, and swift affliction support.

Also Read: Path Of Exile 1 And Path Of Exile 2 Are Two Different Games! - Differences Between POE 1 & POE 2

    Leveling With Lightning Tendrils

Next is the most important part, which is leveling. So, make sure to follow this carefully. We don’t have access to Lightning Conduit until Act 3.

So, instead, our main skill is going to be Lightning Tendrils. This is a great skill in my opinion. Do not take Elemental Overload Keystone until you swap to Lightning Conduit.

All of the stones with Lightning Tendrils are great for both clearing and single target. You gotta use Increased Critical Damage support and Infuse Channeling support for Lightning Tendrils.

If you have a fourth slot, use Control Destruction or added Lightning Damage support

    Passive Tree Leveling Order

When you start the passive skill tree, you can grab the cast speed instead of the small spell damage nodes.

Make sure to grab the Elemental Overload once you swap to Lightning Conduit.

    Leveling Weapons

You can duel wield any weapon with modifiers, such as cast speed, lightning damage, and +1 to lightning spell skill gems.

  • 3 Awesome Starter Builds For POE 3.22 Trial Of The Ancestors League

3 Awesome Starter Builds For POE 3.22 Trial Of The Ancestors League

    Aug 11, 2023

While we wait for POE 2, GGG will not let us down and we’ll keep releasing a lot of new contents.

Now, on August 18th, we’re going to face the challenge of the Trial of the Ancestors. Here, I’m going to share with you 3 starter builds that I believe that are going to be great. But since we don’t have the patch notes yet, those are just expectations.

    1. Venom Gyre

I’m going to start this guide with one of the most powerful starter builds out there. Even though I believe it might be nerfed on this patch notes, it is so strong that it would still be great. I’m talking about a Venom Gyre Deadeye with the Ranger class.

Venom Gyre is a very interesting skill, which fires a projectile that hits enemies and returns to you, piercing and dealing damage to everything on its path. When the projectile successfully returns to you, you can keep and stack them up to 30 times and they will be released at once when you use the Whirling Blades movement skill.

    Pros

To list the pros of this build, I would not even know where to start.

It counts with an amazing clear speed, boss damage, and over 100,000 effective HP. Above all of that, it’s cheap and easy to put together. It doesn’t require any mandatory unique item.

    Cons

Now, to list the cons is the real challenge here. It’s hard to find something not to like on this build.

However, I would say that as most builds, this one is also vulnerable to Chaos Damage unless, of course, you invest in Chaos Resistance gear.

    Budget

As for budget, based on previous leagues, this build is very cheap.

You can get it destroying early endgame maps with only around 90 Chaos Orbs.

To comfortably advance to yellow maps, you need to invest around 120 Chaos Orbs.

And for easily completing your atlas, I recommend investing around 4 Divine Orbs.

    Clear Speed

For clear speed, I’ll give this build 10 out of 10.

The Venom Gyre projectile already has an expansive nature for their amount of time it stays dealing damage on screen. Now, with a Deadeye that grants a lot of speed and many buffs to projectiles, the result is what you’re seeing on this Tier 16 gameplay.

    Boss Damage

The boss damage is also a 10 out of 10.

You can use Vaal Venom Gyre to instantly have 50 stacked projectiles and delete bosses with an amazing shotgun effect using Whirling Blades on them. It’s just unreal.

    Survivability

For the survivability, I give it 9 out of 10.

This build counts with over 100,000 effective HP because of high armor, high evasion, spell suppression, and block chance.

    2. Poisonous Concoction

Following, we have the Poisonous Concoction Pathfinder with the Ranger class

I left this build out on Crucible because since it doesn’t use weapons, players wouldn’t be able to take advantage of weapon passive trees. But now that Crucible won’t be added to the core game, this awesome starter build is back.

As I just mentioned, poisonous Concoction uses no weapons. Instead, it uses your Life Flask to inflict massive poisons on your enemies.

    Pros

To list the pros of this build, I would start with how simple it is to level up. It gets really strong fast and safe with low investment, making it a perfect build for beginners.

    Cons

Now, to list the cons, I would point that even though this is a cheap build, it can get expensive to activate all the auras.

This is because you need an Enlightened Gem to do so. But don’t worry, this is not mandatory at all.

    Budget

As for a budget, you can get it destroying early endgame maps with only around 85 Chaos Orbs.

To comfortably advance to yellow maps, you need to invest around 120 Chaos Orbs.

And for easily completing your atlas, I recommend investing around 4 Divine Orbs. But you can totally do it with less.

    Clear Speed

For clear speed, I’ll give it 9 out of 10.

You are fast and throw many flasks that poison enemies and cause nearby ones to also get poisoned. It’s a great clear speed and very satisfying to watch.

    Boss Damage

The boss damage is great and deserves 9 out of 10.

The projectiles can shotgun bosses for a lot of poison damage.

    Survivability

For the survivability, I’ll give it 9 out of 10.

This build counts with many defensive layers, such as high armor, high evasion, spell suppression, and a 50% chance to block attacks and spells. All of that grant this build over 100,000 effective HP.

    3. Boneshatter

Finally, we have a starter build for the tanky boys. I'm talking about the Boneshatter Juggernaut with the Marauder class.

This build is perfect for the melee enthusiasts out there. Boneshatter hits enemies so hard that it hurts your own character accumulating trauma stats. For each trauma, you're going to deal and take more damage. That's why it's important to gather both attack speed and armor to stack many traumas and sustain their damage.

    Pros

To list the pros of this build, I would start with its survivability.

Even though you deal damage to yourself, this build has so much armor that it won't feel a thing.

Now, because of that, you might think that this build had to a sacrifice speed or boss damage. But no, it is still super fast and can kill Guardians in just a few seconds.

    Cons

Now, to list the cons, the first thing that comes to my mind is that you need to keep an eye on your accuracy.

This is because we use the Keystone precise technique that grants 40% more damage if your accuracy is bigger than your life.

As for budget, this build is cheap. You can get it destroying early endgame maps with only around 60 Chaos Orbs.

To comfortably advance to yellow maps, I recommend investing around 120 Chaos Orbs.

And for easily completing your atlas, I recommend investing around 4 Divine Orbs.

    Clear Speed

For clear speed, I'll give it 9 out of 10.

Boneshatter also creates a big pulse of damage when stunning enemies. That means that a single blow can kill an entire pack of monsters.

Other than that, you stack a lot of attack speed that causes your Leap Slam to almost teleport you through the map.

    Boss Damage

The boss damage is also great and deserves 9 out of 10.

Using Berserk on bosses cause you to accumulate a lot of trauma stacks and do huge amounts of damage.

    Survivability

For this survivability, this build is surely a 10 out of 10. And I would even like to say 20 out of 10 if I could.

This build achieves almost 200,000 armor and over 83% of all Elemental Resistances. All of that combine with the Juggernaut Ascendancy grant this character almost 500,000 effective HP. It's crazy!

Unique Items are not as powerful as high-level rare items. But if you can make the right choice, you’ll unlock a different gameplay experience and enjoy some special builds.

Since POE 3.22 Trial Of The Ancestors League is coming, it would be a good choice to filter out some practical unique items in advance. Today, we will focus on the Body Armor slot.

When someone says leveling unique Body Armour, most of the players already think of the most iconic and chase item from the early levels in Path of Exile, Tabula Rasa Simple Robe. On the first day of the league, according to PoE ninja, 7% of players used this item.

    Underrated Body Armours

This time, we will take a look at two POE Items: Thousand Ribbons Simple Robe and Bramblejack Plate Vest

    Thousand Ribbons Simple Robe

Let’s break down Thousand Ribbons quickly.

First, you will notice the big tooltip with lots of good stat. The added damage is the really important one. You get tons of damage. Just equip this item, which works with spells and attacks. It gives tons of Life and Energy Shield, making this item very useful even later on Acts.

But the very good thing about this is the Resistance that can give us. Even the low rolled one can give 15% to all Elemental Resistance. So, overall, if you are just equipping this and you can’t four link it because it has low item level, you can just use it straight away.

It also has a plus support link if you socket your active skill gems in it. For most builds, this is just useless because most of the builds do not inflict Elemental Ailment or just rarely have the chance to do so, just making your spell or attacks cost more.

    Bramblejack Plate Vest

The second item is the Bramblejack unique body armour.

It’s a little meme fun tier. But I think it has a good use and it will save you some mental energy in the first two Acts. Also, it can make your level 1 character immortal in Act 1 against Physical Damage.

The next big thing about this item is the big Life that can roll up to 60 Life, which is really huge for the early Acts. But the next stat is maybe even the most underused stat in the game because at high levels, the stat is not useful for anyone.

I’m talking about flat reduced Physical Damage taken from Attack Hits. Later in the Acts, this is completely useless. But let me show you something about Act 1.

In mud flats, on my level 2 character, I can’t die because the monsters can’t hit bigger than 10, making our character basically immune to physical damage. Of course, in submerged passage, there are many threats for us from the cold spells that monsters use.

There is another line in this item that maybe sound good, but it’s very bad, 1000% of Melee Physical Damage taken reflected to Attacker. This is bad because if we didn’t take any damage, we can’t reflect back anything. Overall, this item is funny at Act 1, but pretty much useless after that. That’s why I said it is a meme and fun tier.

How Can You Get Thousand Ribbons And Bramblejack At The Start Of The New League?

On the first day of the new league, Bramblejack and Thousand Ribbons are very obtainable and there are plenty of them on the market.

Also, keep in mind, in the Trial of the Ancestors League, you have a chance to get a unique item as a reward for beating your opponents in the arena.

In the trailer of POE 3.22, you can see there is a unique belt offered as a reward. I am not saying you will get this. Just keep in mind there is a chance to get a unique item while testing the league mechanic in Act 1.

I always take a few minutes to look at the league mechanics and judge if it’s worth trying to get unique items or something useful. I know it’s not the fastest way, but I only have fun when trying new things. After all, that’s why playing games is about having fun.

How Much Are Thousand Ribbons And Bramblejack On The First Day Of The New League?

On the first day of the new league, the price of these two items are 1 Orb of Alchemy to 2 Chaos Orbs

According to PoE ninja, you can check the price through the graphs while searching for these two items. I think the prices are very fair even if you pay 1 Chaos Orb for each of them. But I think you can get any of these two items pretty quickly with 1 Orb of Alchemy.

I checked the trade site, and some were listed 4 months ago, so that might have been the first day of the league.

    Disclaimer!

    Here are some disclaimers.

You don’t have to use these two Body Armours for leveling. You can 100% complete the Acts without these two items. I know of some speedrunners/groups who almost made it to level 90 on the first day of the new league and even took down an Uber Boss. It’s just a somewhat interesting series that hopefully focuses on low-level leveling unique items that are underused or underrated. Do you have any favourite leveling Body Armour?

A Pair Of Unique Boots Worth Using At The Start Of POE 3.22 Trial Of The Ancestors League! - Wondertrap Velvet Slippers

    Aug 08, 2023

Recently, we have been updating a series. This series is mainly talking about some underrated low-level leveling unique items that maybe you can use at the start of POE 3.22 Trial of the Ancestors League. Today, we will focus on the Boots slot.

When someone says leveling unique boots, most of the players already thinking about Wanderlust Wool Shoes or Seven-League Step Rawhide Boots. Wanderlust is maybe the most common boots used for leveling because of its Movement Speed.

Underrated Boots - Wondertrap Velvet Slippers

This time we take a look on Wondertrap Velvet Slippers.

I know everyone wants one thing at the start of the league and that is the Movement Speed boots from the vendor at level 2. Most of the time, I got unlucky and did not get any Movement Speed on my boots.

There is a vendor recipe for Movement Speed boots, but that cost a Quicksilver Flask and I don’t think you have a spare one at the start of the new league.

    Why Wondertrap Is Good?

The reason why I think this item is good is because it has everything that makes a good leveling item. Let’s break down.

First, the level requirement is level 9. It’s a low level check. The most important stat on these boots is the Movement Speed roll. I think this is the most important stat for faster leveling because we run everywhere. This can roll up to 25%. Of course, the better the roll, the higher the price will be. If you’re unlucky and didn’t get the Movement Speed boots when you reached level 9, then this is a very good alternative.

It is also worth mentioning that these boots give all three attributes, which are very good for this level. When you want to spend your skill points on damage or life, equip them with attributes of gems or POE Items. I hate sometimes I only need like 5 or even less stat for an item or gem to able to use and this can save you a few skill points.

There are two not-so-good stats on this pair of boots. First, the Energy Shield. It gives us a little survivability, but is not as important as the stats or Movement Speed.

The other stat is the increased rarity of items found when on low life. The reason why this is bad is that you have to go low life. That’s under 50% life. Most of the time, you are either in full life or just above 50%. And you are never under 50%. Even if you are under 50%, you just run and don’t kill anything. At this level, there is no way, or it’s not even worth running around with 50% health.

How Much Is Wondertrap On The First Day Of The New League?

The price of the Wondertrap is 1 Orb of Alchemy to 1 Chaos Orb on the first day of the new league, depending on the roll.

According to PoE ninja. You can check the price through the graphs while searching for the item. I think it’s a very fair price for this even if you pay 1 Chaos Orb for it. But I think you can get this item pretty quickly with 1 Orb of Alchemy.

  • POE 3.20 One Divine Challenge Series - Bladefall Blade Blast Occultist

POE 3.20 One Divine Challenge Series - Bladefall Blade Blast Occultist

    Mar 20, 2023

Welcome to the second one-Divine challenge.

    Intro & Gear Purchases

Today’s build is the fully automated triple curse, Bladefall Blade Blast Occultist

First, you should purchase some gear and kill some monsters. And, today I’m going to show you a take on the build that’s slightly different from others where I’ve opted to sacrifice a little damage for more quality of life features.

One of those features comes in the form of a fully automated triple curse setup. The three curses this build automates are Temporal Chains, Despair and Punishment. They’re automated via either on hit mechanics or Blasphemy Supports and this lets me focus on fear buttons while mapping. So, I can just sit back, relax, turn my brain off and enjoy the sweet explosions Occultist has to offer.

Another quality of life choice I made is to go for a wand (Rare Profane Wand) with high cast speed as the weapon. There are several low budget options that provide significant damage for this build, such as Cold Iron Point or Obliteration, which are perfectly reasonable by the way.

But I’m willing to sacrifice some of that raw DPS for more cast speed, which makes the two button casting of Bladefall Blade Blast feel much less clunky.

In this case, I purchased a wand with a cast speed implicit. It also had a cast speed suffix and an open suffix that I could craft chaos damage over time multiplier.

If you can’t find one on trade for a good price, craft on yourself by getting a profane one base and using any tier of Essence of Envy until you have an open suffix for chaos damage over time multiplier. The crafting cost for this should be no more than 20 Chaos Orbs in total.

For those who don’t know, Bladefall Blade Blast used to be a very meta skill back in patch 3.13 Ritual League. But it received a couple of nerfs and in patch 3.15, it received a huge nerf to the AOE radius of the Blade Blast explosion. This really turned off a lot of players to the skill since now it has much less consistent AOE overlap without heavy investment.

    Gear Recap & Gem Links

However, with the overall buffs to curses and patch 3.20, poison builds using Temporal Chains and Despair is a pretty decent success and that’s exactly why we’re here.

As always, once you’ve gotten your mandatory gear, spend whatever leftover POE Currency you have and what I like to call cleaning up your gear. That means using Jewels, Orbs of Fusing, Blessed Orbs, the crafting bench, etc to make sure that your character is up and running.

Once the gear is finished, make sure you get the proper flask, set up for your liking and purchase or self-level any gems that you need.

For our ascendancy, we’re first picking Void Beacon and Withering Presence to lock in huge boosts to our chaos damage. Third, we’ll take Profane Bloom for those juicy explosions and finally we’ll take Unholy Authority to lock in that extra curse.

    Sill Tree

Our skill tree focuses on solidifying three major things: 100% chance to poison, 100% chance to suppress spell damage and all the mana reservation efficiency we can reasonably get our hands on to make sure that we can support all the auras that we’re running.

After that, we spend the rest of our points grabbing as much damage over time multiplier and maximum life as we can in our path.

    Playstyle Demonstration

The general playstyle of this build for mapping is that you’re only casting your spells to inflict poison damage to charge up your Plague Bearer and then activating your Plague Bearer and Shield Charge through the whole map.

Once the Plague Bearer is depleted, do more poison damage and repeat the process.

Now again, you’ll notice we’re only casting our Bladefall Blade Blast on two or three packs of monsters until our Plague Bearer is charged. At the top left corner of your screen, you can see that the Plague Bearer is fully charged.

Now, we activate it and zoom around the map with Shield Charge, triple cursing and exploding everything we come in contact with. Notice that we don’t cast spells during this time. So, there you have it.

  • POE 3.20 One Divine Challenge Series - Elemental Hit Deadeye

POE 3.20 One Divine Challenge Series - Elemental Hit Deadeye

    Mar 18, 2023

Welcome to the one Divine challenge series. Today’s build I will introduce is the Elemental Hit Deadeye.

    Intro & Gear Purchases

This one Divine challenge isn’t my original idea. I’ve seen other content creators do similar videos and to be honest, I love the videos. I find them very entertaining and I thought I’d just make my own contribution to the trend. So, here’s my take on a one Divine budget build showcase.

This build is the Elemental Hit Deadeye. It will be deviating from the more often seen variant, which involves a bow and today we’re going to go for the version where we use a wand instead.

Now, one of the new additions with POE 3.20 is the ability to obtain Combat Focus Viridian Jewels with a vendor recipe. This makes the build actually deterministic and accessible to set up in an SSF environment. So, the way you do that is you take some Elemental Hit jewels that have exactly 20 quality and then you sell them in a vendor recipe with various rings and they’ll give you different Combat Focus Viridian Jewels back, depending on which rings you sell along with those gems.

So, normally, your Elemental Hit will cycle through Fire, Lightning and Cold but when you take these Combat Focus Viridian Jewels, you can manipulate which damage types are coming out of your Elemental Hit when you use it and so we’re going to use Combat Focus Viridian Jewels that focus on only forcing our damage into fire damage.

Now, combining that with Avatar of Fire that we get from our amulet. That’s going to stack a lot of flat damage on our gem and the elements will hit gem itself will carry with the damage that we just need to focus on giving and some gem levels.

After we pick up our gear, we’re just going to use the rest of our leftover POE Currency in my case. I think I had somewhere around 80 Chaos Orbs and just clean up your gear. And once you do that, you’ll be able to add quality, take Jewels and Orbs of Fusing and all that kind of stuff.

    Gear Recap & Gem Links

Make sure that you clean up your gear, grab your flasks and purchase whatever gems you need left to fill in your slots.

This build is going to have one Elemental Hit set up in the chest for a single target with a Barrage Support and then it’s going to have a four link that shoots out eight chaining projectiles and that’s going to be our clear skill. Deadeye allows us multiple projectiles and free chaining with the ascendancy. So, that’s not going to be that much of an issue with our clarity at all.

    Skill Tree

And our skill tree here focuses on just efficient path and trying to pick up as much wand, buffs, elemental damage buffs, projectile buffs, etc in the area. We’re going to cap out our Spell Suppression, pick up some crit where we can and then also any of the relevant efficient life nodes that we can pick up in the area. We don’t need any Cluster Jewels because this is SSF viable.
