Hello, Exiles! In POE 3.22 league, I started the league with a Stack Strength Consecrated Path Totems Chieftain build. Since this is my only character in this league and I’ve played this build in the past 3 leagues, I managed to complete the map with this build.
But in POE 3.22, Chieftain rework means things have changed. Since Chieftain rework, we’ve gotten Tasalio and Valako resistances, and restored damage to the totems in the form of Life and Totems Taunt.
But we lose some Fire Penetration Support and the 10% strength boost in Hinekora’s Lock. To enhance our strength, we can get flat strength from Ngamahu node when we use non-unique jewels.
If you’re new to this build, you can increase the power and damage by using some POE items, such as Brutus’ Lead Sprinkler. This is a unique Ritual Scepter that adds 4-7 points of fire damage to the weapon’s attacks for every 10 points of strength.
There is also Iron Fortress, a unique Body Armor can bring us high-intensity blocking and melee physical damage. These are very common items in strength stacker builds and are affordable even if you have very little POE Currency.
For abilities, we use Consecrated Path as totem by connecting to Earthbreaker Support and having the totem teleport to the enemy and deal damage. Before POE 3.22 was released, many people had played this version for many years.
When we use Consecrated Path on Totem, we need a lot of strength to make the build work. Our strength comes from:
Having these strength sources gives us over 1800 strength amounts without using any unique jewels.
When we have enough strength. Brutus’ Lead Sprinkler will cause us to take more damage. Iron Fortress increases melee physical damage by 2%-3% for each strength. Combine this with Iron Will keystone and Crown of Eyes, and your spell damage becomes 150% of your attack power. This combo will give you a good DPS for damage scaling.
We can also add more damage by adding more totems, such as Ancestral Bond and Shaper influence shield.
For defense, we use strength based equipment to give us armor. We have a cap of 80% resistance to all elements on passive trees.
Because of the new Chieftain rework, we need less resistance for rare gear than before, and more slots for other mods. Thanks to Iron Fortress and my rare shield, our block chance reached 70%.
We will focus on restoring damage taken by totems as Life and Totems Taunt. Among them, 5% of the hit damage will be deducted from the health of the totem closest to you. By placing totems to redirect incoming damage, you can be less vulnerable to monster attacks. Recoup can also help you recover health from minor damage taken.
With the build’s current settings, it implements high elemental resistance and chaos resistance, effectively mitigating physical damage from hits. The combination of equipment and passive skills allows you to reduce the impact of critical hits and elemental damage, ensuring a solid defense during the map drawing process.
This Consecrated Path Totems Chieftain is not only powerful but also gives you a great gaming experience. Whether you’re looking for an efficient map cleanup or a character that can handle a variety of content, this build has you covered. Have a nice day!
