Let me introduce you to my Hexblast Mine build. Hexblast is a skill that can deal more damage to Hexed enemies and deal area damage. The skill has a higher base count and also has higher damage in its kit. So this is actually a skill that has both a skill and a support gem.

Also, the skill deals damage to enemies with the lowest resistance. Pinnacle bosses have 50% Elemental Resistance and 30% Chaos Resistance. But reducing or increasing Chaos Resistance is harder than Elemental Resistance. So we use Hexes to reduce Elemental Resistance, such as Frostbite, Elemental Weakness and Exposure.

You can use the left click as a detonation button to detonate freely while moving and throwing. So it's easy to play even if you don't know much about Mines.

Skill Gems

We use Increased Critical Strikes Support to compensate for Hexblast’s low base crit 4%. Because our defense is relatively low, we need a guard spell with good damage reduction like Immortal Call. But its duration is too short, need to increase the duration.

Also, we have Shield Charge and Frostblink combo. We have used Wither Totem Setup here to automatically generate Wither stack using Spell Totem. We also used Divine Blessing Support and Eldritch Battery. So we need Inspiration Support to match our energy shield here.

Passive

Occultist and Sabo Miners mostly taken the passive skills for this build. Other than that, we use normal Mine nodes, Spell Crit nodes, and Charge node. Other unused Mine Mastery increases AOE per Mine. For example, Sabo’s small passive ability can provide AOE per node.

Since we don’t have AOE of any kind in the passive skill, mastering this skill is very necessary. This passive includes 3 Large Cluster Jewel Notables, but can be crafted even if you invest as little POE Currency. So don’t worry.

Items

We still have some Uniques, but the most important unique POE Items are Profane Proxy. We’ll insert Frostbite in this ring to automatically curse enemies with Summon Skitterbots. Another is a Hunter ring with Elemental Weakness.

This Eternal Struggle is dropped by killing Eldritch Mods bosses. This amulet has many attributes, and also provides Global Defenses, increasing Ar, Ev and ES of Eldritch Battery.

The biggest change here is Sandstorm Visage introduced in Sanctum League. In Sanctum League, you can get it often, and the darts are cheap.

But in POE 3.22 league, we don’t currently know its drop rate, nor how often we can go to Sanctum. So items for this league alone can be very expensive.

Also, this Prophecy Wand has so much localized base crit, and Hexblast base crit is equal to crit, which means it has 6% extra crit. In addition, this Wand can add a two points of spell damage.

Items are just that, this doesn’t really require powerful gear to take damage. These rare items are inexpensive, but can increase the critical damage of Hexblast Mine builds.

In conclusion, Hexblast Mine scales well, and the damage it does is very efficient. For a Sanctum League mechanic, this Hexblast Mine build works pretty well. Because you can throw Mine far away to do more damage to the enemy while keeping yourself safe.
