Revealing The Super Tank Build For Path Of Exile 3.25 League! - Bleed Ground Slam Chieftain

    Jul 30, 2024

Hello Exiles, here I am with a new Super Tank that will help you to be invincible in Path of Exile 3.25 Settlers of Kalguur League, and that is Bleed Ground Slam Chieftain.

    Skill

Ground Slam is a melee skill that creates a very noticeable wave that moves with the cursor. If you hit a closer target, you will do more damage, but since we are adjusting the bleed damage, this does not help us.

Now, the most satisfying thing about it is the targeted attack. Don’t forget this is even before Seismic Cry gets the buff. So I think your attack will hit half of the screen.

I must remind you that this build uses 3 Warcries, but that doesn’t mean you have to cast all of them. You can definitely use only 1 or 2, but both have a pretty long duration, so don’t worry.

I would say the only one you need to stick with is Enduring Cry, because we have enough Regeneration. When you have slightly welled gear, you will be able to kill all normal monsters in one hit with your hit damage.

    Aggravated

In POE 3.25, we get a new stat/modifier, which is Aggravated. This will make enemies count when they move, and they will take triple damage from bleeding. We have a 45% chance to do this per hit, thanks to changes to the Vulnerability, Bleeding Mastery, and Bloodletting nodes. We have 1.6 attacks per second, so we can easily trigger this.

    Transfigured Gems

In addition, you will use Transfigured version of this skill, Ground Slam of Earthshaking. The reason we use this is that it hits much harder than the base gem. Second is because this gem is easy to obtain. You can get it from other players by farming Merciless Labyrinth or just spending POE Currency.

    Tincture

As we all know, Tincture is back in POE 3.25. It’s very OP, but the question is how to use it.

All we need here is the new Bloodsoaked Blade Keystone. Normally when you use Tincture, it applies Mana Burn to you, burning your mana. Not only that, but it changes Mana Burn to a “Life” Burn, where you lose 1% life per second, and it increases over time. Luckily, Enduring Cry keeps our life regeneration pretty high. So now we can easily get 23 stacks of Mana/Life Burn, before we even start to notice Degen.

With all this, we can numerically make a pretty big dent in our damage, up to 22%. Of course, you don’t need to press this every time you map, just for bosses, but with better gear, you’ll only use it on bigger boss fights.

    Blood Magic

But since we’re already stretched so thin on points in the skill tree, we can’t even afford to get Mana Reservation Efficiency and Mana Leech, because that would cost too much.

Also, the only Defense Aura we’ll be using is Determination, but it’s been nerfed and it’s hard to get to 28k armor without it. So we will use Blood Magic, and use Eternal Blessing and Pride Aura. This will make Aura free and will not retain life. In addition, Blood Magic will give us 10% more life. Of course, if there is a possibility to make the build even more powerful, I will not hesitate to use it.

    Why Choose Chieftain Ascendancy?

You may wonder if you can play this with different Ascendancy Classes? Well, let me analyze a little why we choose Chieftain. The answer is simple: it is tankiness.

In Settlers of Kalguur league, it is very important to get a layer of defense. And Tasalio, Cleansing Water & Valako, Storm’s Embrace that Chieftain brings will help us at the beginning of the league. Especially the first notable. It will be very easy to limit your resistance with this, and Valako will also give you the maximum fire resistance. So we can easily reach 90% of all resistances. If we combine spell suppression, then we will become super tanky.

The other side of Ascendancy is damage and quality of life. The first node is Sione, Sun’s Roar. In addition to Warcry buff, it also grants infinite power to your Warcry, meaning you don’t need to be near enemies to benefit from Warcry Power buff.

Not only that, but you can send out Warcry at will, even in a hideout. It’s been greatly buffed in this league. I hope this is enough to show why we use Chieftain instead of Berserker or Juggernaut.

    Pantheons

    • Major God: Soul of the Brine King. Upgrade as soon as possible to get Freeze immunity and reduce the chill effect inflicted on you.
    • Minor God: Soul of Garukhan. Equip it to reduce the shock effect. You’ll want to switch it when you get 100% Avoid Elemental Ailments to get a little extra comfort on the map.

    Final Thoughts

In conclusion, this is a new build and few people have tried it, especially in POE 3.25 league. So this can be very powerful, but it can also come with flaws.

Overall, I’m very excited about this build, it has all the features I like, good damage, high regeneration, and of course, pretty tanky. I can’t wait to see how it performs in the endgame in Settlers of Kalguur. See you next time!
